The CCE Cut Off 2026 will be out of 150 marks. Every “last year cut off” you will see quoted for comparison is out of 100.
That one detail makes most comparisons wrong. The 2024 prelims under Advt. No. 212/202324 was a 100-question, 100-mark paper of 60 minutes. Its Group A General cut-off closed at 84.26387, which is 84.3%. The 2026 prelims under Advt. No. 378/202526 had 150 questions, 150 marks and 120 minutes, with a 30-mark General Awareness section that did not exist in 2024. If you scored 90 out of 150 this year and read “84” as last year’s cut-off, you might think you are safely above it. You are at 60%, not 84%. Read every number on this page with its total beside it.

The 3 November PDF is a marks list for every candidate who appeared, arranged by roll number. It is not the list of candidates called to the mains, and it does not print the CCE Cut Off 2026. Those come in a separate notice. Several pages are calling the marks PDF a “merit list”. It is not one, yet.
Official CCE Cut Off 2026: Group A and Group B (Category Wise)
Every cell below stays blank until GSSSB publishes the notice. No figure here is an estimate.

GSSSB CCE Cut Off 2024: Official Figures (Out of 100)
These are the cut offs printed on GSSSB’s two notices dated 19-09-2024: the provisional lists of candidates qualified for the Group A and Group B mains under Advt. No. 212/202324. They are normalised marks out of 100.
| Category | Group A (Common) | Group A (Female) | Group B (Common) | Group B (Female) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| General | 84.26387 | 78.01275 | 79.16369 | 73.37541 |
| EWS | 78.18109 | 72.38680 | 72.24385 | 67.56564 |
| SEBC | 78.08439 | 71.40198 | 71.24938 | 65.39189 |
| SC | 79.27568 | 74.15842 | 72.84036 | 67.55381 |
| ST | 67.04618 | 65.26237 | 60.31046 | 58.99139 |
Four patterns stand out once you read the table across rather than down:
- Group A closed 5 to 7 marks higher than Group B in every main category, from 5.10 marks for General to 6.84 marks for SEBC.
- SC closed above EWS and SEBC in both groups. In Group A, SC was 79.28 against 78.18 for EWS and 78.08 for SEBC. A reserved category does not automatically mean a lower cut off.
- Female cut offs were 4.7 to 6.7 marks lower for General, EWS, SEBC and SC. For ST, the gap was only 1.3 to 1.8 marks.
- Ex-servicemen and most disability sub-categories closed at the floor. Four of the five values printed in each list were within 0.15 marks of 40, the 2024 minimum.
The Group A list ran to 422 pages and the Group B list to 797. GSSSB later issued revised scores in November 2024. We could not confirm whether the cut offs changed with that revision, so treat the table as the September 2024 position. If the CCE Cut Off 2026 notice follows the 2024 format, it will again print a Common and a Female column for each category.
Why the 2024 Cut Off Cannot Predict the CCE Cut Off 2026
| Point | 2024 (212/202324) | 2026 (378/202526) |
|---|---|---|
| Questions and marks | 100 / 100 | 150 / 150 |
| Time | 60 minutes (36 seconds a question) | 120 minutes (48 seconds a question) |
| Sections | Reasoning 40, Quant 30, English 15, Gujarati 15 | Reasoning 60, Quant 30, General Awareness 30, English 15, Gujarati 15 |
| Minimum to qualify | 40 marks | 60 marks (40%) |
| Vacancies | Smaller cycle | 7,338 (Group A 2,942, Group B 4,396) |
Converting percentages is the only fair comparison, and even that has limits. The 2024 Group A General cut off of 84.3% would be 126.4 out of 150 if the same percentage repeated. It will not repeat exactly. The 2026 paper added a General Awareness section, gave more time per question and was spread across 14 days of shifts, all of which change how marks are distributed. Use 2024 to understand the shape of the cut off (Group A above Group B, female below common, SC not always below EWS), not its exact value.
How GSSSB Decides the CCE Cut Off 2026
Two rules work together. First, the 40% floor: at least 60 out of 150, for every category. Second, the shortlist: GSSSB calls up to seven times the category-wise vacancies for each group’s mains. Your CCE Cut Off 2026 is simply the marks of the last candidate who makes your category’s list in your group.
On the revised vacancies, the lists can hold up to 20,594 names for Group A (2,942 × 7) and 30,772 for Group B (4,396 × 7). In any category where fewer candidates than that clear 60 marks, the list will be shorter and the CCE Cut Off 2026 will sit at the floor.
The 3 November PDF prints both normalised marks and final marks (normalised plus any additional marks). The 2024 lists were ranked on normalised marks. The cut off notice will say which figure the 2026 lists use, so compare your number with the same column the notice uses.
Final Answer Key 2026: What Changed Before the CCE Cut Off 2026
The final answer key dated 3 November 2026 lists 34 question IDs where the answer differs from the provisional key. By our count of that table:
- 10 questions cancelled. Candidates receive marks for these on a pro-rata basis, as the notice states (રદ થયેલ પ્રશ્નો માટે ઉમેદવારોને પ્રો-રેટા મુજબ માર્ક્સ મળવાપાત્ર થશે). The notice does not give the formula.
- 4 questions with a changed answer.
- 15 questions with more than one correct option, where any of the listed options earns the mark.
- 5 questions with different option IDs for the Gujarati and English versions.
The 29 September papers had the most cancellations, with three. A second notice of the same date says the board checked response sheets and audit logs against complaints of mismatched answers and found no changes.
What this means for the CCE Cut Off 2026: the raw score you worked out from the provisional key in October may be off by a few marks. The marks in the 3 November PDF already include the final key and normalisation. That is the number to compare with the CCE Cut Off 2026.
Check Where You Stand Before the CCE Cut Off 2026 Notice
- Open the 3 November marks PDF and search for your roll number.
- Note three things from your row: your category, your normalised marks and your final marks.
- If your final marks are below 60, you cannot be on either list, whatever the cut off turns out to be.
- If your roll number is one of the 41 reserved results, your marks are withheld for now. Watch for a separate notice on those.
- When the cut off notice comes out, compare your marks with your category in both groups, and with the female column if it applies to you. You can miss the Group A cut off and still make the Group B list.
The full result steps and the 2024 vs 2026 timeline are on our GSSSB CCE result 2026 page. If you want to recheck the raw score from your response sheet, the method is on the CCE prelims answer key page.
After the CCE Cut Off 2026: Mains Dates
Group A: Paper I Gujarati and Paper II English on 28 November 2026, and Paper III General Studies on 29 November, as per GSSSB’s tentative schedule dated 29 September. That leaves 24 days from today. Each paper needs 40% to qualify. See the CCE Group A mains exam date and time table and the Group A mains syllabus.
Group B: a 200-question objective paper of 120 minutes. No date has been announced. Start with the Group B mains syllabus.
Prelims marks only decide who sits the mains. As reported from the advertisement, the final merit list is prepared from mains marks alone, so clearing the cut off by 1 mark or by 30 marks makes no difference after today.
Not the APSC or GPSC CCE Cut Off
Searches for “CCE cut off 2026” also pull up two other exams. The APSC CCE is Assam’s civil services prelims. The GPSC CCE is the Gujarat Public Service Commission’s Class 1 and Class 2 exam. This page covers only the GSSSB CCE Class III (Group A and Group B), Advt. No. 378/202526.

CCE Cut Off 2026: FAQs
What is the GSSSB CCE cut off 2026?
The official GSSSB CCE cut off 2026 had not been published as of 11:30 am on 4 November 2026 and is expected later the same day. The only fixed figure is the 40% minimum, which is 60 out of 150. The actual cut off is the marks of the last candidate on each category’s list.
When will the CCE cut off 2026 be released?
The CCE cut off 2026 is expected on 4 November 2026, a day after GSSSB published the final answer key and every candidate’s prelims marks. It is expected to come with the qualified lists for the Group A and Group B mains, in a separate notice on gsssb.gujarat.gov.in.
What was the GSSSB CCE Group A cut off 2024?
For Group A in 2024, the General cut off was 84.26387 and the General female cut off was 78.01275. EWS closed at 78.18109, SEBC at 78.08439, SC at 79.27568 and ST at 67.04618. These are normalised marks out of 100 from GSSSB’s notice dated 19 September 2024.
What was the CCE Group B cut off 2024?
For Group B in 2024, the General cut off was 79.16369 and the General female cut off was 73.37541. EWS closed at 72.24385, SEBC at 71.24938, SC at 72.84036 and ST at 60.31046. These are normalised marks out of 100, roughly 5 to 7 marks below the Group A figures.
Is the CCE cut off 2026 out of 100 or 150?
Out of 150. The 2026 prelims had 150 questions of one mark each, against 100 questions in 2024. Compare percentages, not raw numbers: the 2024 Group A General cut off of 84.26 out of 100 equals 84.3%, which would be 126.4 out of 150 if the percentage repeated.
What is the minimum qualifying mark for the CCE prelims 2026?
The minimum is 40%, which is 60 marks out of 150, for every category. Crossing 60 makes you eligible, but the CCE cut off 2026 in your category may be higher. You also need to rank within seven times your category’s vacancies in Group A or Group B.
How many candidates will clear the CCE cut off 2026?
Up to seven times the category-wise vacancies in each group. With 2,942 Group A and 4,396 Group B posts, that is a maximum of 20,594 and 30,772 names. A list will be shorter in any category where fewer candidates reach the 60-mark minimum.
Why is the female cut off lower in the CCE?
Because women have a separate share of posts within each category, and GSSSB prints a separate female cut off for it. In 2024, the female cut off was 4.7 to 6.7 marks lower than the common cut off for General, EWS, SEBC and SC, and 1.3 to 1.8 marks lower for ST.
How many questions were cancelled in the CCE final answer key 2026?
Ten, by our count of the final answer key dated 3 November 2026. Candidates receive marks for cancelled questions on a pro-rata basis. Four other questions had their answer changed, 15 accept more than one option, and 5 have different option IDs in Gujarati and English.
CCE Cut Off 2026: What to Do Right Now
The CCE Cut Off 2026 will settle one question: whether you write the mains. The cut off itself carries no weight after that, because the final merit comes from the mains alone. If you are close to the line, the 2024 pattern says check both groups and the female column before you decide anything.
Your next step: open the 3 November marks PDF now and write down your category and final marks, so you can compare them with the official CCE Cut Off 2026 the moment GSSSB publishes it.
