If the CCE Result 2026 comes out on 3 November as expected, Group A candidates will get 25 days between finding their roll number on the list and sitting Paper I of the mains on 28 November. In the 2024 cycle, that gap was about 68 days.
Twenty-five days for three descriptive papers.
Speed is the real story of the CCE Result 2026, and most pages ranking for it skip it. The prelims ended on 29 September 2026, so a result on 3 November would arrive 35 days after the last shift. Last time, GSSSB took about 120 days from the final shift (20 May 2024) to the first result in September 2024. It then issued a revised list with normalised marks on 9 November 2024, only 16 days before the Group A mains. The board has worked to a tight schedule before, but never this tight from the start. If you are waiting for the PDF before opening your Gujarati notebook, these numbers say you are already behind.
CCE Result 2026: Status on 31 October
| Point | Detail |
|---|---|
| Advertisement | 378/202526, Gujarat Subordinate Services Class III (Group A and Group B) |
| Prelims | 16 to 29 September 2026, CBRT, 150 marks, 120 minutes |
| Candidates | 4.58 lakh registered; 3.82 lakh downloaded call letters (reported on 16 September) |
| Provisional answer key | Released on 5 October 2026 |
| Objection window | Closed on 12 October 2026 at 23:55 |
| Final answer key | Not published yet |
| CCE Result 2026 | Expected on 3 November 2026 (no confirming GSSSB notice yet) |
| Group A mains | 28 and 29 November 2026 (tentative) |
| Group B mains | Not announced; GSSSB’s July 2026 exam calendar listed January 2027 |
One gap stands out. In 2024, the final answer key came out on its own on 30 July, seven weeks before the result. This time no final key has appeared, and only a few days remain before the expected date. Our reading, not a GSSSB statement, is that the final key will come with the result or just before it.
CCE Result 2026 Date: How 2026 Compares With 2024
| Stage | 2024 cycle (212/202324) | 2026 cycle (378/202526) |
|---|---|---|
| Last prelims shift | 20 May 2024 | 29 September 2026 |
| Provisional answer key | 8 June 2024 | 5 October 2026 |
| Objections closed | 17 June 2024 | 12 October 2026 |
| Final answer key | 30 July 2024 | Not published yet |
| Prelims result | 18 September 2024 | Expected 3 November 2026 |
| Revised result with normalised marks | 9 November 2024 | – |
| Group A mains | 25 to 27 November 2024 | 28 and 29 November 2026 |
| Result to Group A mains | About 68 days | 25 days, if 3 November holds |
The 2026 cycle has moved faster at every step. The provisional key came 6 days after the last shift, compared with 19 days in 2024. Objections closed 13 days after the exam ended this time, against 28 days last time.
What could still push the date back is the final key. If subject experts cancel a question or change an answer, the raw scores for that shift change, and normalisation across all shifts has to be run again on the corrected scores. A delay of a few days would come straight out of your mains preparation time, because the 28 November date is already fixed.
How Many Names Will Be on the CCE Result 2026 List?
Two rules decide who makes the CCE Result 2026 list. First, you need at least 40% normalised marks, which is 60 out of 150, whatever your category. Second, GSSSB calls only up to seven times the category-wise vacancies for each group’s mains. The original advertisement had 5,370 posts, and an amendment dated 27 February 2026 raised the total to 7,338.
| Group | Vacancies (revised) | Maximum on the mains list (× 7) |
|---|---|---|
| Group A | 2,942 | 20,594 |
| Group B | 4,396 | 30,772 |
| Total | 7,338 | 51,366 |
Compare that with the 3.82 lakh candidates who downloaded call letters. At most about one in seven of them (51,366 ÷ 3,82,000 = 13.4%) will see a roll number on the CCE Result 2026 lists. The share among people who actually sat the paper will be somewhat higher, because not everyone who downloads a call letter turns up. In 2024, 66% of the 5,00,819 registered candidates appeared.
The word “maximum” matters. If fewer than seven times the vacancies in a category reach 60 normalised marks, that category’s list will be shorter.
Your Answer Key Score Is Not Your CCE Result 2026 Score
You can work out a raw score from your response sheet: correct answers minus 0.25 for each wrong answer. For example, 95 correct and 35 wrong gives 86.25. The steps are on our page explaining how to calculate your raw score from the CCE prelims answer key.
The CCE Result 2026 list will not rank that number. It will rank your normalised marks. Under the equi-percentile method in GSSSB’s web note dated 7 September 2026, your raw score is first placed as a percentile within your own shift and then converted to a common scale. Two candidates with the same raw 86.25 in different shifts can end up with different normalised marks, and with fourteen days of shifts, that difference decides a lot of borderline cases.
The 2024 cycle shows why this matters. When the first list came out in September 2024, candidates protested that it did not match the notification. On 9 November 2024, GSSSB issued a revised result with normalised marks. Keep the saved PDF of your 2026 response sheet. If the list is revised again, it is your only record of what you marked.
What the CCE Result 2026 PDF Will Show
We are going by the 2024 result here, because GSSSB has not described the 2026 format. In 2024, the board published a provisional list of candidates who qualified for the mains, which it called મુખ્ય પરીક્ષા માટે લાયક ઠરેલ ઉમેદવારોની કામચલાઉ યાદી, with a separate list for Group A and Group B. The list was prepared on normalised marks, at seven times the category-wise vacancies, within the 40% minimum.
When the CCE Result 2026 PDF opens, check these points:
- Your roll number, in the list for the right group
- The category printed against your entry
- Your normalised marks, if the list prints them
- Any instruction in the covering notice about the mains, documents or call letters
Keep your roll number (from your call letter) and your OJAS confirmation number ready. Recent GSSSB result PDFs, such as the Ophthalmic Assistant final result of 30 October 2026, print both numbers.
How to Check CCE Result 2026 on Your Phone
- Open gsssb.gujarat.gov.in in your browser. Type the address yourself rather than tapping a link forwarded on WhatsApp.
- In the latest announcements on the home page, look for advertisement 378/202526 with the word પરિણામ or Result.
- Open the Group A list and the Group B list. They are separate PDFs.
- Use the search option in your PDF viewer (the magnifying glass in most phone PDF apps, or Ctrl+F on a computer) and type your roll number exactly as it appears on your call letter.
- Download the PDF and keep it on your phone. Links on the board’s site move as new notices are added.
- Read the covering notice in full. Instructions for the next stage usually appear there, not in the list itself.
The CCE Result 2026 is published on the GSSSB website. OJAS is where you applied, and it is where Group A candidates will download the mains call letter later.
CCE Prelims Cut Off 2026: What Is Fixed and What Is Not
Only one number is fixed: 60 normalised marks out of 150, the 40% minimum, for every category. Everything above that depends on how many candidates crossed it.
Your effective cut-off is the normalised score of the last candidate in your category on your group’s list. In any category where more than seven times the vacancies scored 60 or more, the cut-off will be higher than 60. Nobody can calculate it before the CCE Result 2026 PDF is out, because nobody outside GSSSB has the normalised scores for every shift. A “safe score” you see on a YouTube thumbnail before 3 November is a raw-score guess, not a cut-off.
After the CCE Result 2026: Group A and Group B Next Steps
Group A: 25 Days to the Mains
The Group A schedule comes from GSSSB’s notice dated 29 September 2026. It calls the schedule સંભવિત (tentative):
- 28 November 2026: Paper I, Gujarati Language Skill, 100 marks, 10:00 to 13:00; Paper II, English Language Skill, 100 marks, 15:00 to 18:00
- 29 November 2026: Paper III, General Studies, 150 marks, 10:00 to 13:00
- Qualifying marks: 40% in each paper, which means 40, 40 and 60 marks
After the CCE Result 2026, mains call letters are issued on OJAS under the Secondary/Mains Exam Call Letter option. For the December 2025 Group A mains, they came about nine days before the paper. On that pattern, expect them around 19 November, though GSSSB has not announced a date. All timings are on our CCE Group A mains exam date and time table page.
If you get 25 days, here is a split that works backwards from 28 November. It is our suggestion, not an official plan. Spend days 1 to 10 writing one Gujarati and one English format every day, days 11 to 20 on General Studies answers of 30 to 50 words, and the last five days on two full sittings, with Gujarati and English back to back as on the real Saturday. Use the CCE Group A mains syllabus for the word limits and the CCE Group A mains old papers from November 2024 for the full sittings.
Group B: Date Not Announced
The Group B mains is a 200-question objective paper of 120 minutes, about 36 seconds a question. No date has been announced. GSSSB’s exam calendar of July 2026 listed January 2027, but that is a plan, not a notice. Start with the CCE Group B mains syllabus and the CCE Group B mains paper 2025 with answer keys.
Prelims Marks Do Not Carry Forward
According to the advertisement, as reported by several sources, prelims marks are used only for screening. The final merit list for both groups is prepared from mains marks alone. A score of 110 and a score of 75 in the prelims count the same once both candidates are on the list.
Which “CCE Result” Is This Page About?
Search results for this query mix up four different things:
- Advt. No. 378/202526, prelims result: the CCE Result 2026 this page covers, expected in November 2026.
- Advt. No. 271/202425, Group A mains result: the Divyangjan special recruitment drive. Its provisional result came out on 12 August 2026, and many pages titled “CCE Group A Mains Result 2026” refer to it.
- Advt. No. 212/202324, revised result: the 2024 cycle’s revised list of 9 November 2024.
- CCE-2: a separate recruitment of about 2,422 posts, which GSSSB’s calendar placed in December 2026 for the prelims. It has no result yet.

CCE Result 2026: FAQs
When will the CCE result 2026 be declared?
The CCE result 2026 is expected on 3 November 2026. As of 31 October, GSSSB had not published a notice confirming that date, so treat it as expected rather than official. The final answer key is also pending and is likely to come with the result or shortly before it.
Is the GSSSB CCE result 2026 out?
Not yet. As of 31 October 2026, the prelims result for Advt. No. 378/202526 had not been declared. The provisional answer key came out on 5 October and the objection window closed on 12 October. The result notice for Group A and Group B will be posted on gsssb.gujarat.gov.in.
How can I download the CCE result 2026 PDF?
Open gsssb.gujarat.gov.in, find the result notice for advertisement 378/202526 among the latest announcements, and open the Group A or Group B list. Search the PDF for your roll number using your viewer’s search option or Ctrl+F, then download and save the file to your phone.
How many candidates will be on the CCE result 2026 list?
Up to seven times the category-wise vacancies in each group. On the revised 2,942 Group A and 4,396 Group B posts, that is a maximum of 20,594 and 30,772 candidates. Only candidates with at least 40% normalised marks, which is 60 out of 150, can be included.
What is the CCE prelims cut off 2026?
No official cut-off has been published. The fixed minimum is 60 normalised marks out of 150 for every category. Your actual cut-off will be the normalised score of the last candidate in your category on your group’s list, and that will only be known once the result PDF is out.
Why will my CCE result 2026 score differ from my answer key score?
Because the CCE result 2026 uses normalised marks, not raw marks. GSSSB converts each candidate’s raw score into a percentile within their own shift and then onto a common scale, using the equi-percentile method. Any question cancelled or corrected in the final answer key also changes the raw score before normalisation.
Do CCE prelims marks count in the final merit list?
No. According to the advertisement, as reported by several sources, the prelims only screens candidates for the mains. The final merit list for Group A and Group B is prepared from mains marks alone, so a higher prelims score gives no advantage once you are on the list.
When is the CCE Group A mains exam after the result?
The Group A mains is on 28 and 29 November 2026, according to GSSSB’s tentative schedule dated 29 September. Gujarati and English are both on 28 November and General Studies is on 29 November. A result on 3 November would leave 25 days before Paper I.
Is the CCE result 2026 published on GSSSB or OJAS?
The CCE result 2026 list is published on the GSSSB website, gsssb.gujarat.gov.in. OJAS is the portal where you applied and printed your application, and it is where mains call letters are released. Use only links printed in the board’s own notices, not links forwarded on social media.
CCE Result 2026: Use the Days Before 3 November
The CCE Result 2026 will tell you which list you are on. It will not give you back the time you spent waiting for it. With the Group A mains fixed for 28 November and no date yet for Group B, the candidates who start their mains preparation now will have the advantage on result day.
Your next step: save your roll number and OJAS confirmation number in one note on your phone today, and if you are preparing for Group A, write one full Gujarati paper this weekend instead of waiting for the list.
